Town D. Evans MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGThe minutes were read by all present and proposed by Mrs S. Gilchrist and seconded by Mr W. KendellMATTERS ARISING FROM MINUTESNo matters arising from minuteschairman's reportMr Monks said its been a hard season this year for all of us and the rallies have been supported well but a lot have been associate members, a few had 50% Jaguar members on but in general we need more support from Jaguar members. He then went on to say he was standing down after this meeting.TREASURERS REPORTMrs Gilchrist thanked Mr Evans for auditing the books. She said deposits worked for other clubs but not for us will only have deposits for holiday rallies and where we have to book a room. She said she had been with the Jaguar for 25 years and 15 years as Treasurer and done well at keeping the club in profit and she will be stepping down after this meeting.Everyone had seen the balance sheet its acceptance was proposed by Mr W. Kendall and seconded by Mrs D. Jakeman and accepted by all present.RALLY OFFICERS REPORTMr Fisher said next year we have some venues booked and then went on to read out the list. He said that the attendances for this years rallies were up on the previous year, he then went on to list the rallies and the number of units they were up by and added that this was due to other clubs members attending our rallies.RALLY SECRETARY'S REPORTMr Milner said the year got off to a good start at Barnstones but we had to cancel Cotswold School at Easter but Mr Fisher managed to find an alternative venue in Lichfield at the last minute. Upton Upon Severn was turnout along with Whitehills and Hemsby. He said that 85% of bookings were taken through the website, so all in all the website ha been a great success.NOTICE OF PROPOSALSDue to Mr Monks and Mrs Gilchrist stepping down Mr Milner said he would take over as Treasurer and Mr Fisher would take over the position of Chairman if nobody else came forward. Mr Kendall then said it was left to just 4 people to do multiple jobs in the club and urged people to come forward to lighten the load, because of this the club had been in danger of folding over the last 5 years. Mr Milner was then voted on as Treasurer and Mr Fisher voted on as Chairman.ANY OTHER BUSINESSMr Milner proposed that Mr Monks and Mrs Gilchrist be made honour y members of the club, this was voted on and passed and seconded by Mr Fisher.Mr Billinghurst said he had a hip operation and could not drive so had to cancel his Hemsby rally and under the circumstances could the club refund his deposit, Mr Monks said no because the rule is non refundable deposits if he was to have a deposit returned we would have to change the rules. After a discussion between all the members in the room it was agreed that Mr Billinghurst would have his deposit returned and the rules changed to state that with exception of medical evidence. This was proposed by Mrs D. Jakeman and seconded by Mr R. Alton.MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY'S REPORTMrs Monks said Barnstones was attended by 56% of Jaguar members Lichfield 42% Fish Meadows 47% Whitehills 25% Fortway Farm 71%Market Bosworth 46% Hemsby wk1 33% wk2 45% wk3 50% wk4 53%Willow Farm 53% Hampton Ferry 50%Mrs Monks then said we have at the moment 86 members 41 of which did not attend a rally at all this year, we have 13 non unit members and we have 9 books left so this year only order 85 books.Mr Monks said that as from the end of this year the Coombe Club will be charging £60 for the use of the room for signing on night and £60 for the A.G.M. Mr P. Hill said he would enquire at the Bulkington Working mens Club as an alternative venue. Next A.G.M to be arranged.Mr Milner then presented Mrs Gilchrist with a bottle of brandy and some flowers and Mr Monks with a case of beerMeeting closed at 12.51pm
