Details: Have a lovely time on this chilled bank holiday weekend. There is a public footpath running through the farm, if you walk one way within about 15 minutes it will take you into Warton where there is a convenience store for your essentials and a post office, a childrens play area and a public house. If you take the footpath in the other direction you will have a more challenging walk for about 35/40 minutes where you will come to Orton on the Hill where you exit the footpath at the main road opposite the church, just behind the church there is the Orton Arms which is a restaurant pub which does excellent meals, but it is advisable to book. There is a farm shop on Warton lane which is worth a look round and it also serves tea coffee and snacks. Polesworth and Tamworth are just a couple of miles away for all your retail needs

Directions: From Coventry head to the A5 either via Nuneaton using the A444 or the M69 to Jcn 1 turning left and passing Nuneaton to the A444 Jcn. Carry on on the A444 towards Burton on Trent and as you pass the entrance to Twycross Zoo, take the first left signed Orton. Pass crossroads and at the T Jcn.turn right and the site is on the right at the bottom of the hill. Look for JCCC signs.
